Aurangabad, Jul 20 (UNI) Around 622 fresh positive cases of novel coronavirus and 10 fatalitites were reported across the eight districts of Marathwada region in Maharashtra up to late night on Sunday , according to the official sources.
Auranagabad, one of the worst affected district in the region, saw 399 fresh cases high ever in single day with four fatalities, followed by 66 cases and two deaths in Nanded district, 82 cases in Jalna district, 29 cases in Parbhani district,12 cases and two deaths in Osmanabad district , 11 cases and two deaths in Beed district and 23 cases in Hingoli district ,they said ,according to data from all the different district headquarters collected by UNI.
With this, the total positive cases reached 15757 in these districts while the region death toll also rose to 591 so far, the sources said.
In wake of rising numbers of cases in Nanded district curfew has been extended for next three days .
In Jalna after 14 days long curfew on today morning comes to end. In Parbhani, the ongoing curfew also relaxed by district administration.
Latur already under curfew , while differnt parts in Beed district also placed under curfew .
