Goa CM seeks support of scientists in improving state's part of Arabian Sea

Panaji, June 8 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday called upon the scientists of National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) and students to share their knowledge and research with the government in suggesting ways and means to improve the conditions of the state's part of the Arabian Sea.

Speaking on the occasion of World Oceans Day, which was celebrated at the CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) at Dona Paula here, Dr Sawant said oceans are a major source of food, medicine and a critical part of the biosphere.
