Panaji, Jan 16 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal participated in door-to-door campaign in Cortalim in South Goa on Sunday.
While speaking to the media, Mr Kejriwal said, "Our door-to-door campaign in Cortalim garnered tremendous response from the people who are eager for a change this time around. Because it has been either the BJP or Congress ruling Goa and they haven't done anything for it in the last many years".
"We have heard complaints from the senior citizens in Cortalim about not receiving their monthly allowances on schedule. If AAP wins, we will do our best to ensure that beneficiaries get their monthly allowance on time," he added.
Former Minister and AAP leader Alina Saldanha said,"The Goenkars here are aware of the changes brought about by AAP in Delhi. These people are familiar with the revolution in education and health infrastructure that have been brought by AAP. Cortalim people desire the same changes in their constituency. There is no doubt that all Cortalim people will help us to win this time."
At the campaign, Mr Kejriwal was accompanied by St.Cruz candidate Amit Palekar and AAP Goa Convener Rahul Mhambre.
