Navratri 2021 sans garba, processions: Maharashtra govt

Mumbai, Oct 5 (UNI) Though Maharashtra government has permitted it to reopen religious places from October 7, the pre-COVID fanfare around ‘Navratri’ will still be missing as the state has said no to garba and processions.
The temples along with other religious spots will be reopened on the auspicious ‘Ghatasthapana’ or first day of Navratri.
However, the authorities have asked to maintain strict adherence to COVID norms.
