Maha: Special event to be held in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on 25th anniversary of Kargil Victory Day on July 26

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jul 25 (UNI) To commemorate the silver jubilee year of Kargil Victory Day, the MGM University, MGM Schools, Matrubhumi Pratishthan, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation, Sainik Welfare Association, Territorial Army and NCC will jointly organise a special programme on Friday morning at Rukmini auditorium of MGM University campus here.
An official press statement issued on Thursday stated that on the historic day of July 26, 1999, India achieved victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War. Since then, this day is celebrated as 'Kargil Victory Day' across the country.
