Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Oct 3 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Finance Dr Bhagwat Karad was felicitated on Sunday by the Aurangabad Ayurvedic Association for his recent induction at the Centre.
During the event held at the Indian Medical Association hall here, Dr Karad also honoured doctors and nurses who rendered untiring services as COVID warriors.
Speaking at the occasion, he said, “Ayurveda is the oldest medical science in India. Ayurveda has been used extensively in Mahabharata and Ramayana. However, the (previous) governments neglected the science of Ayurveda.”
