Kolhapur, Aug 10 (UNI) State Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday announced Rs 20 crore in funds for the reconstruction of Keshavrao Bhosale Natyagrah, which was gutted in a big fire on Friday night.
Shinde, who specially arrived here to take stock of the fire, broke out to Natyagrah, where about Rs 16 crore was damaged, including the roof, stage, and other materials totally damaged. He inspected the fire damaged Natyagrah.
After taking information about the fire, Shinde, while talking to reporters late this evening, said that it was very unfortunate that a fire broke out in the name of Keshavrao Bhosale, on the backdrop of his birth anniversary.
