Two women killed in Parbhani hit-and-run incident

Parbhani, Aug 7 (UNI) Two women were killed in a hit-and-run accident on the Gangakhed-Parbhani Highway near Daithana village in Maharashtra’s Parbhani district early Thursday morning.

The victims, identified as 69-year-old Pushpabai Kachve (wife of former District Panchayat Chairman Uttamrao Kachve) and 55-year-old Anjanabai Shisode, both residents of Daithana, were struck by a speeding white car during their routine morning walk around 5:30 am.

Nagpur, Feb 14 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday emphasized that cancer poses one of the greatest challenges to India’s healthcare system and called for innovations in cancer treatment to reach every corner of the world, noting that “humanity knows no borders.”
Speaking at the inauguration of the international conference “Oncology Beyond Borders” at the National Cancer Institute, Nagpur, Fadnavis highlighted the urgent need for early detection and timely treatment of cancer.
