Girl travels over 800 km from UP to file rape case in Nagpur

Nagpur, Oct 5 (UNI) A 22-year-old Nepalese girl travelled all the way from Lucknow to Nagpur to file a case against a man, who allegedly raped her, police said here on Monday.
According to the complainant girl, the man had warned her if she tried to approach police in connection with the alleged offence that took place in Uttar Pradesh, but the girl fled from there and somehow managed to reach Maharashtra’s Nagpur(located at over 800 km from Lucknow) and lodged a zero FIR against the man.
As per the detailed reports, the girl reached India from Nepal in 2018 in search of job and was staying with a lady friend in a rented flat on Faizabad Road in Lucknow.
