Republic TV CEO fails to appear before Mumbai police

Mumbai, Oct 10 (UNI) Arnab Goswami-led Republic Media Network's chief financial officer (CFO) Shiva Subramaniyam Sundaram did not appear before the city police on Saturday in connection with the probe into TRP scam, saying that a writ petition has been filed in the Supreme Court in this connection and the hearing of the same is pending before it.
It may be recalled that earlier the Mumbai Police had issued summons to Sundaram, directing him to to join the investigation on Saturday morning, in connection with the Television Rating Points (TRP) manipulation racket.
In a letter to Mumbai Police, Mr Sundaram stated that a writ petition has been filed in the Supreme Court and early hearing is expected, only after which he will join the investigation subject to the order of the SC.
