Two arrested for molesting young woman in running local train

Thane, Nov 28 (UNI) The Kalyan Railway police have arrested two youths for allegedly molesting a 21-year-old woman in the running local train late on Wednesday night between Khardi and Umbarmali railway stations.
An offence under sections 354(A), 307, 323 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code and section 162 of the Indian Railways Act has been registered at Kalyan Railway police station against the duo based on the complaint by the victim, a resident of Kasara, police said on Saturday.
According to the victim, while she was travelling towards Kasara in the train late on Wednesday night, the duo got into the Ladies compartment and molested her and when she resisted, they attempted to throw her out of the speeding train. However, she rescued herself from the accused.
