Gold chain snatchers gang nabbed by police

Nashik, Nov 1 (UNI) Nashik police arrested seven chain snatchers and a a total of Rs 29 lakh 32 thousand 176 worth of gold and Rs 2.5 lakh in cash has been seized from them.
Commissioner of Police Deepak Pandey at a press conference todfay said that In the last 3 years, the police department has succeeded in solving the crimes related to gold chains in 10 different police stations in the city.
The gold chain snacher leader and other suspects have been arrested on the basis of information received from gold chain sancher leader. A total of Rs 29 lakh 32 thousand 176 worth of gold and Rs 2.5 lakh in cash has been seized from them. This was done by a special team of Gangapur Police Station, informed Commissioner of Police Deepak Pandey at a press conference. Officers and staff of the team were felicitated at this occasion. Police Commissioner Deepak Pandey also gave a prize of Rs 10,000 to the team .
