BJP to sweep Mah polls: Shahnawaz

BJP to sweep Mah polls: Shahnawaz

(
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Oct 9 (UNI) BJP National Spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain on Wednesday exuded confidence in the Devendra Fadnavis-led BJP government of sweeping all seats in the coming Maharashtra Assembly elections, saying that there was a Tsunami wave in favour of BJP and it's allies.

Mr Hussain, who was in the city to participate in a live show, said after 44 years in this state, a government had completed it's full term of five years.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Hussain said, 'I have seen the mood of people in the state, while travelling from Shirdi. Once again, the party is going to win the election with a massive mandate.'
Talking about Congress, he said during the election period, former party president Rahul Gandhi had left for Cambodia, because he knew that the party will face a humble defeat in Maharashtra and Haryana, to be held on October 21.
Senior Congress leader Salman Kurshid also raised the issue of Mr Gandhi, he quipped.
Congress and NCP have no candidates to fight the Assembly election in the state and those who were contesting election on behalf of these parties, were doing so, in their own capacity, he added.
Talking about the Rafale fighter aircraft, received on the occasion of Dussehra on Tuesday, he said a puja was performed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
Congress had raised objection on it also, he added, while explaining that it was an old tradition of performing a puja of the Arms on Dussehra. The Indian Air force was also established on the same day, he pointed out.
Pakistan should fear Rafale because the fighter jet can attack the terrorists, without crossing the border, the BJP Spokesperson added.
Lauding the works of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mr Fadnavis, he said the country and Maharashtra were moving on the path of development. Maharashtra was playing a vital role in the country's economy, he added.
When asked about the Opposition accusing BJP of scrapping Articles 370 and 35 A in Jammu and Kashmir in a hurry, when a number of issues were pending in the state, he said it was Congress, which was actually making it an issue, while BJP had solved majority of the problems there.
He further listed the several welfare work done by Mr Modi, for the people of the country, including the farmers loan waiver and the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi.
Accusing the Congress, NCP and the AIMIM of following the Divide and Rule Policy, Mr Hussain said BJP's ideology was different from these parties.
The saffron party believed in 'Jodo Aur Aage Bado' (take everyone together and move ahead) and 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' (support to all, development of all), he added.
Mr Hussein will proceed tomorrow to Latur for campinging of assembly election.
