BJP slams NCP-SP MLA Jitendra Awhad for anti-Sanatana remarks, demands apology

Mumbai Aug 4 ( UNI) The leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lashed out at Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) MLA Jitendra Awhad for his derogatory statement against Sanatana Dharma and asked whether party president Sharad Pawar and working president Supriya Sule endorse Awhad’s stance.
A major political storm has erupted after Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) MLA Jitendra Awhad's said “Sanatana Dharma has ruined India”.
Awhad also said, "Sanatana Dharma is mainly responsible for the creation of casteism and untouchability".
