Mumbai, Jun 19 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday congratulated Energy Minister Dr Nitin Raut for receiving the 'Star of Governance - Scotch Award in Power and Energy' for its outstanding performance in the energy sector.
The award was presented recently by the Scotch Group to the Department of Energy for its performance in 2021, an official press statement issued here said.
In his congratulatory message, CM Thackeray said that Mahavitran has implemented effective transmission system in remote as well as urban areas of the state.
