European Union Film Festival to go virtual from Nov 5

Panaji, Nov 4 (UNI) The 25th edition of the European Union Film Festival (EUFF) to be held in the city from November 5, 2020, would go virtual.
According to a statement from Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), organising partner of the festival, a total of 42 films would be screened during the festival which would conclude on November 30, 2020.
''This year, the European Union is celebrating its 25th edition of the European Union Film Festival, which is scheduled from 5th to 30th November 2020. Considering the circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the European Union has decided to go virtual wherein the viewers will have an opportunity to explore the best of European cinema from the comfort of their homes. Further, as done in the past, the ESG is partnering with the European Union for the festival. Therefore, we warmly invite you to register online on Festival Scope and give yourself an opportunity to enjoy great cinema. The registration is absolutely free and one can watch all 42 films on Festival Scope between 5th to 30th November 2020,'' the statement said.
