Pramod Shewale to be next Superintendent of Police, Nanded

Nanded, Sep 18 (UNI) Pramod Shewale, a 1996 batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police here, succeeding Vijay Kumar Magar.
Prior to this posting, Officer Shewale was the Deputy Commissioner of Thane. He has also served as the Chandrapur Sub Divisional Police Officer and Dhule Superintendent of Police.
He is credited for successfully handling the religious riots case during his Dhule tenure. He is likely to assume charge on September 21.
