BJP 'rings bells' as Guv Koshyari, CM Uddhav bicker on reopening of temples

Thane, Oct 13 (UNI) As the Maharashtra Governor and the CM engaged in a war of words over reopening of temples shut due to the COVID-19 crisis, the BJP here on Tuesday resorted to a high-pitched 'bell ringing' agitation and symbolic fasting in same regards.
As part of the statewide agitation, the activists of the saffron party gathered at the historic Ghantali temple and rang bells while carrying a huge banner which said in Marathi that temples are closed whilst bars have been opened.
The prominent party leaders, including Niranjan Davkhare and MLA Sanjay Kelkar, among other leaders.
