MSRTC Strike: CM Uddhav appeals to end agitation, pledges govt support

Mumbai, Nov 10 (UNI) Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday appealed to the agitating MSRTC employees to end their indefinite strike and said that the state government is striving hard to resolve their issues.
Making an emotional plea, the CM said, “You (strikers) are ours, not outsiders. For the last few days, the state government has been trying its best to give you relief by accepting your demands.”
He further said, “In submission before the High Court, the government has stated what steps it is taking to resolve its issue and the court is also satisfied. We have also appointed a special committee to look into the matter as directed by the court.”
