Maratha Reservation:MAAS announces Maharashtra 'bandh' on Oct 10

Kolhapur, Sep 23 (UNI) Maharashtra 'bandh' will be held on October 10 for protesting against the Maha Vikas Aghadi(MVA) government's "failure" to legally sustain the Maratha reservation in the Supreme Court, announced Maratha Arakshan Action Samiti(MAAS) on Wednesday.
The 'bandh' decision was taken in the MAAS-organized roundtable conference, which was attended by 50 community outfits as well as the Western Maharashtra Devasthan Committee Chairman Mahesh Jadhav.
Talking to UNI here, MAAS Convenor Suresh Patil said the 'bandh' decision was taken unanimously as the participants were also dismayed over the MVA cabinet's decision on the reservation as well as other issues pertaining to the Marathas.
