NDA-led Centre implementing anti-farmers policies: Aurangabad Cong protests onion ban

Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Sep 16 (UNI) The Congress staged demonstration here on Wednesday so as to protest the Centre's ban on onion export.
Led by the party's District President Dr Kalyan Kale and City chief Hisham Osmani, the partymen gathered in front of the District Collectorate and demanded "immediate rollback of the ban as it was affecting onion growers".
Talking to mediapersons, Mr Kale asserted, "The farmers are already reeling under the COVID-19 woes and now they can't reap monetary benefits of the bumper onion production as prices have sharply came down owing to the ban."
