Submission of rental properties’ details to police mandatory: MBVV Commissioner

Thane/Palghar, Nov 30 (UNI) The MBVV Police Commissioner Sadanand Date has with immediate effect clamped prohibitory orders under section 144 of the CRPc on the tenants in the limits of MBVV police commissionerate, it was stated on Monday.
An official release by the Commissionarate stated that the orders have come into force in the entire commissionerate from November 27 and will be applicable to the the property owners and those who take it on rent and also the agents.
The order states that Mira-Bhayander Vasai-Virar is the fast-growing city and suburb. Here, people in large numbers from Maharashtra, India and also various parts of the world come to stay and for residing or business take, flats/plots, houses, shops, hotels or land on rent or lease and stay there. Hence, their details are required to be with the police, due to which if need be the police can render them assistance or if the police have to take action on them they can do so.
