Minister Jayant Patil announced nine days lockdown in Sangli district amid COVID

Sangli, Jul 20 (UNI) Considering rapidly increasing corona epidemic in the district, district guardian minister Jayant Patil today announced a nine days lockdown in Corporation, Muncipal councils and Nagarpanchayat areas.
He appealed to peoples of remaining rural areas to observe a 'Janata curfew', from 2200 hours in the night of July 22 to 30 July.
After a meeting of elected representatives, top goverment officers to review to situation arising corona epidemic in the district , in which rapidly detecting corona positive patients, Mr Patil announced a nine days lockdown in Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation area, all Muncipal councils and Nagarpanchayat areas and 'Janata curfew'in remaining ingredients rural areas of the district to check the corona viras.
