Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Sep 13 (UNI) Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) once again launched a drive to collect fine from people who are not wearing mask whenever they come out of their houses and collected to the tune of Rs 72,000 from 92 people for not wearing mask, spiting and throwing waste on Saturday at public places.
According to the AMC sources, as per the Civic Body Commissioner and administrator Mr Astik Kumar Pandey direction, the team led by waste management chief Nandakumar Bhombe and Nagrik Mitra Pramukh initiate action across the different main locations in the city and collected total fine Rs 72000 from people, they said .
In view of spreading the corona, Mr Pandey directed the officials.
At present, 28061 people were affected by the virus including 803 deaths in the district while 21532 were cured so far.
