Goa urges Centre to simplify land acquisition process

Panaji, Nov 15 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Prmaod Sawant on Monday urged the Centre to simplify land acquisition process and delegate more authority to the state governments under the Forest Reservation Act.

Taking to Twitter, Dr Sawant, who also holds the finance portfolio, said, ''Had a fruitful virtual interaction with Hon’ble Union Minister of Finance, Smt @nsitharaman ji on enhancing the investment climate in the country. Shared my views on the need to simplify land acquisition process, delegating more authority to State Governments under the Forest Conservation Act and other related reforms..''
