Mumbai, Aug 3 (UNI) The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation(BMC) on Monday issued a clarification in connection with sending IPS Officer Vinay Tiwari, who landed here from Bihar to head probe into the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, into quarantine.
After flying to this metropolis on Sunday evening, Officer Tiwari requested for accommodation in the IPS Mess but his stay there was apparently denied.
Subsequently, a controversy erupted over the matter with the Bihar DGP tweeting that the Officer was "forcibly" sent into quarantine followed by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's remark, "Whatever happened to him is not right".
