Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 24 (UNI) Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam (SASS), a pan India organization of Ayyappa devotees, has congratulated the 861 Brahmos Missile Regiment for selecting Ayyappa mantra-- 'Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa’ as their 'war cry.'
Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam, Erode, National General Secretary N Rajan, in a release here on Sunday said the Brahmos missile regiment’s war cry is seen as a befitting tribute to Lord Ayyappa as the deity is symbolized to have defeated the evil forces by riding atop a horse holding a bow and arrow and returned riding on a wild tiger.
