Centre lauds TN govt's efforts, promises full support in tackling corona

Chennai, Mar 30 (UNI) Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan
today appreciated the efforts of the Tamil Nadu government
in tackling the pandemic coronavirus and promised full support
from the Centre.
So far 67 cases were tested positive in the State and five
patients were discharged, while one casualty was reported.

Covid-19: Dushyant asks panchayats to constitute monitoring committee

Chandigarh, Mar 30 (UNI) Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Sunday appealed to all Gram Panchayats that by April 14, 2020, a monitoring committee should be constituted at each village to fight the Coronavirus and ensure social distancing during the lockdown period.
Mr Chautala, who also holds the portfolio of Development and Panchayat Department, in a statement here said that in this committee ex-serviceman, retired persons and social organizations in large numbers should be included.
