New industrial policy will help country's economy: Suresh Prabhu

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Apr 22 (UNI) Union Minister for Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu on Sunday said that government will bring new industrial policy which will help country's economy to become five trillion dollar economy in next seven years.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Prabhu said there was 30 per cent increase in air traffic up to last month.
He said the government had decided to construct 56 new airports across the country and there was need to purchase new 1000 airplanes in next few years.
He said Civil Aviation Ministry has decided to start cargo service in the country during the night time when the regular traffic was less.
''It will help to export agricultural products which will benefit farmers. Due to poor air connectivity in Aurangabad, tourism sector here has been affected. Air authority has decided to modernise the service of air connectivity,'' he said.
Mr Prabhu said in view of crisis of sugar rates in country government had decided to allow export of sugar to China.
He said special park would be started for world famous Paithani in Aurangabad.
