DMK releases photo of Venkaiah meeting Karuna at hosp

Chennai, Jul 29 (UNI) A couple of hours after Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu visited former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi at the Kauvery Hospital, the DMK released photo of it to the media.

This was the first official photo released after the DMK Chief was shifted to the hospital from his Gopalapuram residence early on Saturday morning following a dip in his blood pressure.

Mr Venkaiah was the first person to personally visit Mr Karunanidhi at the ICU where he was being treated by a panel of expert doctors.

The photo showed Mr Venkaiah Naidu at the ICU along with Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit, DMK Working President M K Stalin, his sister and DMK Rajya Sabha member Kanimozhi, her mother Rajathi

Ammal, and Mr Karunanidhi's personal physician Gopal.

During his visit to the hospital Mr Naidu enquired about the health condition of Mr Karunanidhi with his family members and doctors.

After visiting the hospital, Mr Venkaiah Nadu tweeted 'Visited Kauvery Hospital and met former Chief Minister Thiru Kalaignar Karunanidhi. Met his family members and doctors and enquired about his health.'

'Doctors said he is stable. Wish him a speedy recovery. @kalaignar89', he added.

Srinagar, Jun 16 (UNI) Senior CPI (M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami on Sunday said that the National Testing Agency (NTA) should set-up more National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET) examination centers in Kashmir Valley and Ladakh region to accommodate aspirants, who otherwise have to face hardships and shell out a lot of money to appear for the test in other states.
