Puducherry, May 28 (UNI) Puducherry Lt point Governor Kiren Bedi today said serving Puducherry for her has been a challenge on several counts. In an open letter to the people on completion of her one year in office, Dr Bedi said even though she had many hostile situations, her team and she remained focused on higher purpose of being here to serve the people of Puducherry. 'For her, this is not a post but a position to serve to the maximum' aand thanked her team at the Raj Nivas comprising capable officers who have been her able support and who made each day better for Puducherrians in many respects, at times ,under difficult circumstances. Listing out various works being undertaken at Rajnivas for the welfare of the people right from 6 AM, the Lt.Governor said the year ahead will continue the good practices and do even more still to strengthen grass root democracy and inclusion. Complaints having prima facie evidence will be referred to central vigilance agencies for credible investigation and appropriate action, she said. The Lt Governor also thanked the government of India, public officials and people of Puducherry for the support extended and trust reposed on her. UNI PAB CS 1930
