BSF jawan martyred as Pak fires unprovoked on IB in Samba
BSF jawan HC RP Hazra (51) resident of Hapra, West Bangal killed as Pak Rangers fired unprovoked on IB in Samba district on Wednesday.

Jammu, Jan 3 (UNI) A BSF jawan attained martyrdom as Pakistani Rangers on Wednesday evening fired unprovoked on International border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

One BSF jawan namely HC RP Hazra (51) resident of Hapra, West Bangal got injured in the firing and shifted to D H Samba but was declared brought dead.

"At about 1635 hours, Pak 80 Chenab Ranger deployed at Pak post Jogar Hyder, started indiscriminate firing towards BSF Post Dulma Chak in sector Samba manned by BSF 173 Bn," official sources here said.

They said that the firing was retaliated while exchange of firing from both sides still going on.

Chandigarh, Apr 22 (UNI) With a view to resolving issues related to excess meter reading, Dakshin
Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam has decided that whenever a complaint is lodged by the consumer in the
concerned Sub Division, regarding excess reading recorded by the meter reading agency, the concerned
staff would compare the final reading shown in the bill with the reading captured in the photograph by the MRBD agencies in respect of meter of that consumer.
