Amit Shah admits total failure of his govt : J&K Congress

Jammu, June 23 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Congress on Saturday said BJP national president Amit Shah has admitted a total failure of his government in Jammu and Kashmir.
“BJP Chief Amit Shah has candidly admitted total failure of his government in the state as well centre thus BJP’s betrayal with the electorate of Jammu region, on all commitments, especially poll promises, upon which Jammu gave huge mandate to BJP in 2014,” JKPCC spokesman Ravinder Sharma in a statement issued here said.
He said his entire speech in Jammu was admission of the total failure of BJP in the state on all fronts especially to curb militancy and ensuring the promised special focus on developmental needs of Jammu region.
The BJP Chief instead of answering to the questions lurking in the minds of Jammu people to the BJP, over the total surrender of BJP and bartering the interests of people of Jammu region, for the sake of power, was noticed counting his party’s total failures, thus open betrayal with their electorate who gave BJP a massive mandate, to represent their aspirations, said Mr Sharma.
“It was quite funny to hear from the national president of the ruling party to express total helplessness in ensuring delivery of the government in the state despite being equal partner, especially when it is also ruling at the centre,” he said adding that it is BJP style to remain glued to the chair for over three and half years with PDP, despite such a state of affairs of BJP in the coalition and now has the cheeks to shift the blame solely to PDP and escape the entire responsibility, under the slogan of patriotism, commitment of ending injustice to Jammu.
“His address has vindicated the opposition charged that BJP betrayed Jammu electorate during four years rule and their alliance with ideologically opposite PDP was unholy,” alleged the Congress leader.
