These governments promoted nepotism and corruption. The result was the state lagged in path of development and the law and order situation worsened,” Yogi said while addressing mediapersons during a function organised at Lok Bhawan to celebrate 100 days in office. During the function, he released a 50 page booklet titled “100 din Vishwas ke”. The cover of the booklet had the smiling faces of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Adityanath together. All the ministers of Yogi government were present on the dais when Chief Minister read out a prepared speech. “This government is dedicated to the development of people without any bias. Therefore, the administration has been made accountable and sensitive so that the benefits of the government scheme could reach the last man,” he said. Voicing satisfaction over performance of his government, he said '100 days were such a small time to judge any government’s performance but we have taken it as a challenge and results have been very positive.' “The Lok Sankalp patra has been our Gita and we are fulfilling the promises we have made in that,” CM said. He elaborated on the schemes he has launched in last 100 days which includes waiving of crop loans of over 86 lakh farmers. CM said that the government has introduced e-tendering system to end corruption and make government working more transparent. "End of VIP culture, minimising misuse of funds, and making the governance corruption free is the target of the government," Yogi said. “The Government has repaired over 1,21,000 km damaged road. We took up the cudgel to make state highways pot-hole free and were successful in making over 70 per cent roads free of pot holes. In power sector we have assured 24x7 electricity to district headquarters, 20 hours in Bundelkhand and Tehsil and 18 hours in villages. This government has also taken a decision to provide interrupted power supply to Ayodhya, Devipatan, Chitrakoot, Shakumbara Devi, Vindhyachal and Namisharanya,” he said. As the government was facing opposition barbs over law and order, Yogi said that government was committed to make UP free from mafia, goonda and corruption. Anti-land mafia task force has been set up under which 5,895 hectare of land has been freed from land grabbers. “Anti-romeo squad was set up following which cases of women harassment dipped. Government has also launched women helpline 181 under which 64 rescue vans have been launched,” he said. CM also talked about `Mukhbir Yojana' which will keep an eye on illegal abortions. “In the education sector government has provided free books and uniforms. Government has also decided to open 166 Pt Deen dayal Upadhaya Modern Schools to impart quality education to children,” he said. Yogi said state was facing the brunt of misrule of previous government. 'The wheel of change has started rolling and in time UP will start galloping on the path of development,' he said.
