U-23 Six Nations Tourney: Indian junior women's hockey team thrash Belgium

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) Indian junior women’s hockey team crushed Belgium 2-0 to claim the third consecutive victory at the Under-23 Six Nations tournament at Antwerp in Belgium on Wednesday.
India's Sangita Kumari (36th minute) and Salima Tete (42nd minute) scored to celebrate truimph over Belgium.
India breached the Belgian defence in the third quarter with Sangita Kumari’s goal in the 36th minute after a goalless first and second quarter.The 1-0 lead was doubled when Salima Tete scored through a penalty corner in the 42nd minute.
India will take on Canada in its fourth match.
