Djoko loses appeal against Aus govt

Canberra, Jan 16 (UNI) World no.1 tennis player Novak Djokovic on Sunday lost his appeal against the Australian government's decision to cancel his visa for a second time.
The decision means Djokovic will return to immigration detention at the Park Hotel in the city center. Moreover, his hopes of winning the record-breaking 21 men’s Grand Slam titles also come to an end.
The Serbian player was scheduled to play in the season's first Grand Slam tournament, Australian Open, which begins on Monday.
