Sibiu Open: Sumit Nagal loses to Stefano Travaglia in semi-final

Sibiu (Romania), Oct 2 (UNI) Eighth seed Sumit Nagal of India lost to top seed Italian Stefano Travaglia in the singles semi-final of the €44,820 Sibiu Open (Romania). The three-set semi-final lasted one hour and 42 minutes as Stefano emerged winner by 6-4, 0-6, 6-0.
Stefano fired five aces and committed four double faults. The Italian player saved eight out of 12 breakpoints and converted five of 10 breakpoints. In comparison, Nagal saved five out of 10 breakpoints and converted four of 12 breakpoints. Nagal served four aces and committed five double faults.
Sumit Nagal, who hails from Jhajjar, Haryana, got 29 ATP points and earned €2160.
