Shreay Vir, Priyanshu, Diza enter quarterfinals

Chandigarh, Oct 4 (UNI) Top seed Shreay Vir and Priyanshu Antil advanced into quarterfinals in the boys under-16 singles of the CLTA-AITA Championship Series (CS-3) Tennis Tournament for Boys and Girls under-16 here today. Shreay Vir defeated Devansh Pranjuli of Punjab 8-3. Shreay Vir played consistently and maintained his momentum throughout the match. Shreay Vir was dominant throughout the match and used his experience to beat Devansh without getting much pressure.
In the another pre-quarterfinal match sixth seed Priyanshu Antil defeated Karen Singh easily 8-2
In the girls singles pre-quarterfinals DizaJ unjea upset sixth seed Mankirat Kaur 8-4. Kritika Sharma also upset eighth seed Rhosyn William 8-1. Kritika played in a top form and played consistently. Finally Kritika won the match marginally by considering only one game. Other player who moved in Quarterfinals are Yana Gupta, Dhriti Parashar and Akshita Vashisht,
