Darjeeling, Sep 30 (UNI) An 18-member Indian Army team attempting to summit the 6,889 mt Mount Khangchengyao in North Sikkim has set up its base camp, a report reaching here said today.
The soldiers of the Trishakti Corps, led by Major Ankit and Captain Sanyam Sharma, are expected to climb by October 8, the report added.
Mount Khangchengyao is the 4th highest Peak in Sikkim and 10th highest peak in India.
