Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club & Assam Rifles Polo Team-A enter finals of Polo Tournament

Imphal, Nov 4 (UNI) Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club and Assam Rifles Polo Team-A have advanced to the finals of the 38th N. Hazari & Dr. N. Tombi State Polo Tournament 2025, organized by the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association at Mapal Kangjeibung, here.
In the first semi-final, Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club edged past Black Watch Polo Club (Babupara) in a closely contested match that ended 5–4. Both teams displayed fine horsemanship and strategic play, keeping spectators on edge till the final chukker.
For Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club, S. Soalin, Swarna Kanjam, and W. Abothe were the key scorers, ensuring their team’s narrow but decisive win. Despite spirited efforts from Th. Hongbom Manmba and L. Rohit, Black Watch Polo Club fell short by a single goal in the final tally.
