India gear up for crucial Hockey Men's Jr WC match against Poland

Bhubaneswar, Nov 26 (UNI) After losing their opening match against France, India bounced back with a dominant victory over Canada in Group B match of the ongoing FIH Hockey Men's Junior World Cup 2021 here. The hosts will now look to book their spot in the quarterfinals when they take on Poland on Saturday.
The defending champions India lost to France in a closely contested match by 4-5 on Wednesday. However, the hosts displayed sheer class and ruthlessly outclassed Canada by 13-1 on the following day, which saw a record 70 goals at the Kalinga stadium.
India vice-captain Sanjay, who scored two consecutive hat-tricks in the back-to-back matches, said that he is working on new techniques that the coaching staff have been sharing with the team.
