16th Inter school Golf Tolly Indian Championship begins with a grand comeback after one year hiatus

Kolkata, Oct 7 (UNI) India's largest and oldest junior golf event, the Inter School Golf : Tolly Indian Championship began its 16th edition at Tollygunge Club today after one year of hiatus as the young golfing talents of the country will be seen representing their respective schools at nation's biggest stage of junior golf.
The two-day championship which began its journey in 2005 ran uninterruptedly for 15 fifteen years straight but because of worsening covid situation in the country, the organizers were left with no other option but to postpone the event which was previously scheduled to be held in 2020 to 2021.
Much to the delight of the onlookers, Golf will again take the centre stage in the city of joy as near about 100 promising golfers are expected to take part in this two day golfing extravaganza. The format and structure of the event will remain the same as it has been in its previous editions.
