Sourav Ganguly is doing well, Vice-president Naidu and PM Modi enquired about health condition of BCCI chief

Kolkata, Jan 4 (UNI) Indian cricket board chief Sourav Ganguly, who had undergone an angioplasty last weekend, is doing well on Monday as a routine ECG on Sunday was satisfactory, the latest health bulletin from Woodlands Hospital said.
Meanwhile, Vice-President of India Venkaiya Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had telephonic talks with the family members of Ganguly and enquired about the latest health position of the former Indian captain.
Cardiac specialist Devi Shetty is expected in the city to see the ailing Board of Control of Cricket in India president and will decide the further course of medical attention if any more angioplasty to be done or not.
On Saturday the angioplasty was done for a vessel, which was totally blocked, and two more vessels were partially blocked, an earlier medical bulletin had said.
He was suffering from triple vessel disease.
Ganguly had an uneventful night after having rice, dal, vegetables and custard in the dinner last evening, the medics said.
Forty-eight-year-old Ganguly was now under the care of Dr Saroj Dandal, Dr Soutik Panda, Dr Saptarshi Basu of a nine-member medical board.
" A check-up echocardiography to be done today morning to assess his heart function and then the Medical board members will meet and discuss further treatment plans with family members.
Former BCCI chief Anurag Thakur, who is now a junior finance minister will visit the hospital to see his successor.
Former Aussie great Greg Chappel also wished speedy recovery of Ganguly.
