11 members infected with COVID-19 in Japan's Chiba baseball club

Tokyo, Oct 6 (Xinhua) A total of 11 top-team players and staff from Japan's Chiba Lottee Marines have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19, the Japanese Pacific League baseball club announced on Tuesday.
The Kyodo news agency said that despite the mass infections, the club's Pacific League game against the Orix Buffaloes went ahead as planned on Tuesday. The Chiba side lost 3-0 at home.
