AP: 3-day DRDO Central Zone Table Tennis Tournament begins at NSTL in Vizag

Visakhapatnam, Aug 7 (UNI) The three-day DRDO Central Zone Table Tennis Tournament 2024-25, began at the Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL), the premier naval research laboratory of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), here on Wednesday.
The tournament which will be concluded on Aug 9, was inaugurated by Dr. Y Sreenivas Rao, Distinguished Scientist & Director General (Naval Systems & Materials), DRDO in the presence of Guest of Honour Dr. Abraham Varughese, Outstanding Scientist & Director NSTL.
Around 120 players consisting of 8 teams (including NSTL) are participating in this three-day League-Cum-Knock-out Tournament that comprises Team Championship, Men’s Singles & Doubles; Women’s Singles & Doubles; Veteran’s Singles & doubles and Mixed Doubles.
