Diya upsets Anvi enroute to final at AITA U-14 CS 7

Bengaluru, Sep 23 (UNI) Tamil Nadu lass Diya Ramesh continued her giant killing spree when she toppled the second seed Anvi Punaganti in three sets to reach the final of the Transform-AITA U-14 CS 7 tennis championship played under the aegis of KSLTA here on Thursday.
Diya who was a 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 winner over the fancied player will now meet top seed Zynah Amber in the summit clash. The latter defeated Sushmitha Ravi in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 in the other semifinal.
Later Diya and Anvi teamed together and put up a great fight in the doubles final but could not stop the top duo of B Adithi and Sushmitha Ravi from taking the crown with a 2-6, 6-2, 10-3 victory.
