2nd Test, Day 1: Stokes, Sibley put England on top against Windies

Manchester, Jul 16 (UNI) The gritty unbeaten half-centuries from Dom Sibley (86* off 253 balls) and Ben Stokes (86* off 253 balls) brought back England into the game on Day 1 of the second Test against West Indies on Thursday.
Sibley and Stokes stitched an unbeaten 126-run partnership to put England in a position of control as the hosts scored 207/3 at stumps on Day 1.
Earlier, after a rain delay in the morning session, West Indies captain Jason Holder won the toss and chose to bowl first, to take advantage of the overcast conditions.
