Paris Olympic 2024 sports calendar released

Paris, July 26 (UNI) The Organising Committee has released sports competition calendar for the Olympic Games Paris 2024, with just over two years to go until the Games begin.
In all, 329 events will take place across 762 sessions between July 24 and August 11.
Team sports in the spotlight from July 24, the first matches of the men's football tournament with no less than 8 matches throughout France and the festive atmosphere of rugby 7 for the first 12 matches of the tournament at the Stade de France.

Surat, Sep 24 (UNI) Harmeet Desai defeated Soumyajit Ghosh 4-0, and Sutirtha Mukherjee downed Sreeja Akula 4-1 to emerge the champions at the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Indoor Stadium, where the table tennis events at the 36th National Games concluded here on Saturday
Harmeet, the most popular paddler in the state, didn’t disappoint his fans as he demolished his Haryana rival with clinical precision. Throughout the Games, the Birmingham CWG team gold medal winner exemplified his form with superb touch, none better than in the semifinals against G. Sathiyan, the top seed. The final seemed a mismatch as Ghosh hardly showed any glimpse of a comeback and became easy prey to the Gujarat man.
