Birmingham, July 31 (UNI) Continuing their winning streak in table tennis, Indian men's team stormed into the semifinals by thumping Bangladesh 3-0 in the quarterfinals at the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games here on Sunday.
The Indian pair Harmeet Desai and Sathiyan Gnanasekran began very well against Bangladesh duo Ramhimlian Bawm and Mohutasin Ahmed Ridoy as they defeated them 11-8, 11-6, 11-2, giving India 1-0 lead over their rivals.
In the next match, India's Achanta Sharat Kamal completely dominated Bangladesh's Mohammad Rifat Sabbir. The Indian star completely crushed his opponent 11-4, 11-7, 11-2 by showcasing his wonderful paddling skills.
