AP: Indian shuttler Sindhu lays foundation stone for Badminton Academy in Vizag

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Nov 7 (UNI) Indian badminton player P.V. Sindhu laid the foundation stone for the Badminton Academy at Aarilova Junction near here on Thursday.
In 2021, the Andhra Pradesh government had allocated 2 acres of land in Visakhapatnam during the tenure of then Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for badminton academy and sports school.
Sindhu along with her parents performed the foundation stone laying ceremony to establish the facility dedicated to nurturing and empowering athletes across multiple sports and disciplines here.
